My Best Friend's Wedding

Here are a few photos from my bestie Paula’s wedding day in Brooklyn last Saturday (10/19).  She was an absolute vision!  The wedding was beautiful and the reception at the Dumbo Loft was one classy affair.  We won’t talk about the dance routines that may have been fueled by one too many margaritas consumed that night.
I am beyond grateful for Paula. She is my dearest friend and has been since freshman year of high school. She has always been there for me and I certainly hope to be that kind of friend in return.
 I’m soooo happy for you and John.  Love you, boo! XO

The Brooklyn Flea

Stopped by the Brooklyn Flea this past weekend.  I must say we really had no intention of buying anything other than food.  The Brooklyn Flea is full of some of the most amazing food vendors EVER.  Here's a few photos of the day...
{First stop People's Pops for a Sour Cherry and Apricot pop.  So refreshing on a scorching hot day}
{Prosciutto served on a piece of baguette with handmade ricotta cheese, black pepper, arugula, and olive oil from Salvatore Brooklyn...OMG!}
{The prized gem of the day Porchetta's sandwich}
I really wish I could describe how this sandwich tasted, but I really can't even find the words.  It was a euphoric experience.  So amazing!  We are definitely planning on visiting the restaurant ASAP!

Family Fun Day in BK

{scored this lovey necklace for $2.00!}
{got an Hermes inspired scarf at Atlantis Attic for $2.50}
I spent my Sunday shopping for bargains in Brooklyn with my husband, sister-in-law, and her boyfriend.  I love a great bargain so the first stop was the Fred Flare sample sale.  There I purchased this really pretty turquoise and gold statement necklace.  At only $2.00 it was a total steal.  We then went on to do some shopping at Atlantis Attic.  Had a great weekend!  How was yours?
*UPDATE* - Just found out the original price of the necklace and now I love it even more!
