Randomness

Just some randomness….

 {drove out to Kilwin's for some of their toasted coconut ice cream}
 {Jada kept herself entertained with Chris' drumsticks and my springform pans while singing Trouble by Taylor swift, that's her jam if you couldn't tell}

The Element Tree Project

Hi Guys!
As you may already know my husband, Christian has been putting his heart and soul into the "Immortalized" documentary. The documentary is in its final stages and in order to release the DVD, pay for film festival submission fees, launch the official ELEMENT TREE website, power the Yard Work web series, among other things we are asking for your kind support. Watch his Kickstarter video here to find out how and see how far he's come in the process! Donating through Kickstarter using your major credit card is 100% safe and secure and he's offering awesome rewards to his backers! If you decide to donate, you’ll have to quickly login (free) and then you’ll be routed through Amazon, which is how your card will be charged.
Kickstarter is an organization that seeks to help creative projects get funded through donations. It’s all or nothing though, meaning that if Chris doesn't reach his goal of raising $12,000 within 60 days(end date is Oct 17th, at 12:35pm), he will not get a dime and no donations are processed! But no pressure ;-)
I consider you all family, friends and supporters of his ventures regardless of whether you decide to donate to this project or not. That said any and every pledge amount is welcome and definitely going toward a life long dream and a great cause. Thank you for your time and support!
Lots of love and appreciation,
Erica

Blogger Care Package Swap

I particpated in a blogger care package swap started by Lynzy of the awesome blog From Skirts to Skillets along with fellow blogger Jemima.  The theme of the swap was floral.  The lovely, Ediot was my care package partner.  She gave me this really cute floral dress...

If you would like to see what I gave her check out her blog here.
Thanks again, Ediot! ; )
On a side note Chris (my hubster) suprised me with this PooLovesBoo piece when I got home from work yesterday.  Gotta love him!

Art and Popsicles

{admiring art by T Dee}
{Pistachio Gelato w/chopped pistachios and chocolate/Coconut Gelato w/Shredded Coconut}

A few nights ago my husband and I went to an art opening in Soho. The show consisted of several different graffiti artists. It was pretty amazing to see the different styles and techniques each artist brought to the table.
*UPDATE* click here for more details on the show.
Since Popbar was only a few blocks away we decided to take a walk over there. It did not dissappoint at all. I chose the pistachio gelato and the hubster chose the coconut gelato. Um, delicious! It was super smooth and creamy. Everything is all natural so that is definitely an added bonus.
It was a great night. ; )
