Jenny's Back on the Block

Jennifer Lopez graces the cover of Vanity Fair's September issue.  This woman is like fine wine, she just gets better with age.  She talks of her breakup with Marc Anthony and her hopes for the future.  Check out the video below for some behind the scenes footage of her VF shoot with famed photographer Mario Testino.  Girlfriend knows how to work her face.  She looks AMAZING!

Florida Weekend

As I mentioned last week my sisters, niece and I went on a little weekend trip.  We visited our dad in Florida.  It was so great to get to spend some time together.  Here are a few pictures of our getaway...

Video # 2: Coconut Cubasian Mojito

My go-to summer cocktail has got to be the mojito. As you all may know I love all things coconut as seen here, here, and here. I decided to blend coconut milk and TY KU Liqueur (a sake-based spirit made with 20 fruits and botanicals; pomegranate, Asian pear, and green tea are just a few of them) in place of the standard white rum. This made for the most refreshing summertime beverage. I call it the Coconut Cubasian Mojito (get it Cuban + Asian = Cubasian) Anyway, enough of my corniness. As you know I love my Sally Hansen Salon Effects because they are so easy to apply, but I am always highly impressed with hand designed nail art. I have found endless inspiration visiting this blog. The name is a little naughty, but I promise you will be so impressed with all the creative designs out there. I want to try out the marbling effect ASAP.
