As one of my birthday presents, Chris took me to go see the Alexander McQueen exhibit at the MET. It was AMAZING. I always knew Alexander McQueen was in a league of his own when it came to design, but to actually get to see his work in the flesh was a completely different experience. His vision, attention to detail, and just overall craftsmanship was on another level. As soon as you enter the exhibit you can help but feel a bit melancholic. There was a definite feel of sadness in the air. You are not allowed to take any picture of the exhibit, but that didn't stop Christian from pulling out his iPhone. These are a few shots he snuck in. If you are in the NYC area I highly recommend checking out the McQueen exhibit, but hurry since the last day is August 7th.

Knuckle Up!
I had to share my latest Forever 21 acquisition. I am in LOVE with this ring! I have been pretty obsessed with two finger rings for a while now. When I saw this one I knew I had to have it and at $4.80 there was no hesitation at all! Check out these splurge worthy two and multi finger rings...

Long Live McQueen

Alexander McQueen's final collection has been shown to about a dozen people at a time in a salon in Paris over the past two days. The level of workmanship was intricate and awe inspiring. To quote Amy Larocca of NY Mag, The small collection served as an emotional reminder of what, exactly, the world will now miss. I couldn't have said it better myself.
