DIY: Military Inspired Mani

I'm really fond of the khaki and army green color combo.  This military inspired look is super simple to recreate.  All you need is nude colored polish, a dark green polish, and some gold microbeads.

Process:
1.  Apply 2 coats of nude polish
2.  Apply green polish to tips in a "V" shape
3.  Using an orange stick apply microbead to the base of the "V"
4.  Seal beads with a thick layer of top coat

You can check out my microbead mani tutorial here.

Holiday Makeup Must Haves

The holiday season gives us an excuse to pay extra attention to our hair and makeup.  My favorite looks are either a bold lip or a shimmery, smokey eye.  Here are a few of my holiday make up must haves:
A classic red manicure
Shimmery eye shadow
Glittery nails
Sparkly eye liner
A bright red pout
Glowing skin

Essie's Winter 2010 Collection

I can't even believe Essie's winter collection is now available.  Where has the time gone?  Anywho, I am in love with the colors.  I think Hot Coco and Going Incognito are on the top of my mani list.

Essie's Fall 2010 Collection

Check out the new Essie Fall 2010 collection.  The collection will become available in September, which is only two days away.  Can you believe it?
{Little Brown Dress}
{Limited Addiction}
{Merino Cool}
{In Stitches}
{Sew Psyched}
{Velvet Voyeur}

There is also a Fall mini pack that includes Limited Addiction, Sew Pysched, Merino Cool, and Little Brown Dress.  I love Limited Addiction because it is the perfect shade of red, but I also want to give Sew Pysched a try.  It kind of reminds me of the new Chanel Khaki nail colors.

It's Good To Be Pampered

{Delicious Mexican Corn and Half of a Cuban Sandwich}

{Essie's Tart Deco}
Today I took the day off of work for some me time. My mom, sister, and I headed into the city to get hair cuts. After than we headed to one of my all time favorite spots, Cafe Habana in Soho. If you go there you must and I mean MUST try the corn. It's like eating a little piece of heaven sprinkled with cotija cheese and chili powder. After that I went for a much needed mani/pedi. I have to thank Erika from Fashion Chalet for putting me on to Tart Deco by Essie. It's the perfect shade for spring.
Have a great weekend!
