My family and I went out to dinner for my b-day.  Since Mexican is my favorite we went to Charritos which is a local restaurant that opened a new location with spectacular views of the New York skyline.  The food was good, but the guacamole was insanely delicious.

Instead of birthday cake I just wanted to go out for dessert.  So, we went to Archetypus, which has been around for years.  They are well know for their "caves" and desserts.  The tiramisu was perfect.  After all that tasty food I think it's time for a long bike ride. ; )

Birfday.

This past Saturday I spent some time with great family and friends doing some pre-birthday celebrating (today is my actual birthday).  We went to the Top of The Strand for a few drinks.  The view was incredible.  You felt like you could almost reach out and touch the Empire State Building.  The decor was gorgeous.  It kind of had a South Beach feel to it.  After a few rounds of over priced cocktails we decided to head over to BBQs for some yummy food and economical drinks.  It was a great time.

B-DAY BBQ

This weekend we had a BBQ celebration for my husband's birthday.  It was great to get together with family and friends that we hadn't seen in a while.  Delicious food and cocktails always seem to bring people together.  Here are a few moments that were captured that day...

This past Tuesday was my husband's birthday.  He is a pretty simple guy so when I asked him what he wanted to do on his special day I wasn't suprised to hear that he wanted to go to an arcade.  Well the birthday boy got what he wanted!  I wouldn't have changed anything about the day.  It was so much fun.
