The "go to" color this fall season is without a doubt Oxblood.  Kind of a creepy name, no?  This rich shade of burgundy can take the place of a traditionally black or gray piece in your wardrobe.  Here are a few key pieces in this hot hue...

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins

It's October and do you know what that means? It means you need to start consuming massive amounts of pumpkin everything. Pumpkin coffee, pumpkin ice cream, pumpkin cheese cake, pumpkin pancakes, pumpkin flan, you get the picture. That being said these pumpkin cream cheese muffins definitely fit the bill. I wanted to try out the coconut flour I purchased this weekend so I used some of that in combination with whole wheat flour. These are basically a taste of fall in every bite. Just in case you were wondering I enjoyed one of these for breakfast with a pumpkin latte and was in total heaven.

Happy Monday! I don't know if you guys are Dexter fans, but that season premiere was INSANE!! I'm looking forward to an amazing season. On another note I cannot believe it's October 1st! It feels as though we were only hanging out at the beach a few days ago. Anyway, I hope to indulge in my favorite season by baking up some yummy fall desserts, going pumpkin picking and enjoying the mild weather. Hope you have a great week.

Nutella Stuffed Brown Butter & Fleur de Sel Chocolate Chip Cookies

As soon as I spotted this recipe I tweeted, I pinned and I think I knew all along this cookie would change my life.  We were meant to be, you know?  There is no way to properly describe these tasty morsels other than to say they could very well be the best chocolate chip cookies in the entire universe.  Brown butter nuttiness, Fleur de Sel saltiness, and the end all, be all NUTELLA!!!!  I mean really what else is there to say??

Chicken & Cheese Enchiladas

My first attempt at preparing chicken enchiladas a few years back was not a successful one.  I was left with a really messy kitchen and enchiladas that were definitely not worth all the trouble.  I vowed to give enchilada making another go.  This time with a much easier and tastier recipe.  In order to save time I bought  roasted chicken breast from the supermarket.  Also, the recipe calls for flour tortillas, but I went with the traditional corn tortillas.  Prep was a breeze and the results were beyond tasty.
