As I mentioned in this post I love making breakfast on Saturday mornings. I was inspired to make these after enjoying absolutely amazing almond crusted French toast at my sisters baby shower. The recipe calls for challah bread, but when I went to the market they were all out. I figured using croissants would be just as good. The results were heavenly.

Being Silly
My hubby recently purchased a new camera. We decided to be silly and have some fun testing it out. Please don't judge its only his second time using it.

The Most Important Meal of The Day
{The DP Chutney Collective sweet tomato chutney}
One of the things I really love about Saturday mornings is that I get a chance to make a delicious breakfast that takes more than the usual five minutes I allow myself during the week. I have a really yummy breakfast planned for tomorrow. I will definitely share some pics as well as the recipe with you guys. Here are just a few things to make your weekend breakfast time a little more special...

{Kate Moss for Longchamp}
Clutches are not just for your evenings out anymore. I have been loving the big oversize leather clutches there are out there. I think the Reese Hudson is my fav. Are you into clutches?

Cloche Call
I am on the search for the perfect cloche. The cloche hat is a fitted, bell-shaped hat that was popular during the 1920s. Back in the day different styles of ribbons attached to the hats indicated different messages about the wearer. Several popular messages included: An arrow-like ribbon which indicated a girl was single but had already given her heart to someone, a firm knot which signaled marriage or a flashy bow which indicated the wearer was single and interested in mingling. Here are a few that really caught my eye...

Jillian's Little Lamb Baby Shower

This past weekend my mother, sister and I hosted my sister Jillian's baby shower. We chose a little lamb theme. The color scheme was pistachio and light yellow with baby pink accents. A lot of work and love went into making this day very special for Jill. I think it's safe to say it was a success. All pictures were taken by me with the exception of the above picture. Which was taken by the lovely Naty. Seriously, how gorgeous does my sister look?!? If I look half as good as her when I am eight months pregnant I will be one happy camper. Love you, sister!
