Cloche Call

I am on the search for the perfect cloche.  The cloche hat is a fitted, bell-shaped hat that was popular during the 1920s.  Back in the day different styles of ribbons attached to the hats indicated different messages about the wearer. Several popular messages included: An arrow-like ribbon which indicated a girl was single but had already given her heart to someone, a firm knot which signaled marriage or a flashy bow which indicated the wearer was single and interested in mingling.  Here are a few that really caught my eye...

  1. My mom lives in England and they wear hats there all the time...and she always told me about all different hats and why people wear them:)...So interesting...I love the brown one:)
