Christmas Cookie Decorating

Here’s a look into this year’s Christmas cookie decorating party.  I must say Chris and our brother in law, Ben are pretty creative.  Chris turned an upside down snowman into a skull and Ben made a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle out of a bell.  Jada and Josiah got into the action too this year.  Mostly, by licking the icing off the cookies.  So funny!  Take a look at our cookie decorating from years past here and here.

A Birthday Holiday Tea

We revisited  the HighSocietea House for their Holiday Candlelight Tea in early celebration of my mother’s birthday on Saturday.  My mom’s a Christmas baby so she’s pretty much gotten gypped most of her life in the birthday department.  It’s always such a lovely experience when we go there.  Delicious teas, sweets, and savories.  Great conversation and reconnecting. They even had Victorian carolers to get us in the holiday spirit.   I think we may have to make this a yearly tradition.

My heart is so heavy.  I cannot even image what those poor parents are going through right now.  Please keep the victims of the tragedy in Connecticut and their families in your prayers.  Prayer is powerful.

Details of Our Tree

Happy Friday!  This week went by so quickly.  Tonight I officially begin my Christmas shopping.  Please don't judge my tardiness.  This weekend we are attending a Holiday Candlelight tea in early celebration of my mom's birthday.  We are also having our annual cookie decorating party.  Can't wait for both!
